The Jewish people have a beautiful word that is multi-dimensional for describing a well-ordered heart. It’s shalom. The closest equivalent that we have in the English language is the word, peace.
Peace is a rare commodity. We have divisions in our places of employment, barriers in our neighborhoods, alienation in our family units, and fractures in our hearts. We acknowledge our lack of peace and seek to obtain it through various means. But it remains elusive, always just beyond our grasp.

The answer lies in a Person. This Person can break down any wall. He can rescue any troubled heart. He is able to bring about the impossible. Right here in Idaho.

His name is Jesus.
“He Himself is our peace.”
