Let me insert a short word on this restaurant because the establishment had its start on the River Parkway. And now, the current chef and his waitress wife, operate across the river and a few blocks east into the historic downtown area on 401 Park.
My wife and I were taken here by some dear friends. What a treat! We ate sumptuously. Upon our waitress’s recommendation, I ordered and slurped up the hot pot pasta bowl of salmon, mussels, and shrimp. Delicious flavor.
And then we topped it off with a big slice of chocolate cake.
Snakebite is a cozy, brick downtown establishment, featuring some tasty American dishes for the locals. Nothin’ like a good, spicy bite a couple blocks walk from the Snake.
